If you have spent a few Saturdays working your way around our conveyor belt in Westfield, we have news you are going to like. The team behind Sushi Station has opened a second restaurant just up the road, and it is a very different kind of night out.
Niku Kitchen.Sushi.Bar is now open at Sylo Xing on the Zionsville and Carmel border, about fifteen minutes from our Westfield dining room. Where Sushi Station is fast, fun, and built for families and groups, Niku is the sit-down, special-occasion side of the same love for Japanese food.
Same family, a different experience
Niku leans into an east meets west idea: traditional sushi technique next to bolder, modern plates. Nigiri and sashimi built at an eight seat chef’s counter, robata fired over charcoal, and a proper bar that takes Japanese spirits, sake, and whisky seriously. There is even an omakase counter for guests who want the chef to guide the whole meal.
It is the place to keep in mind for a date night, an anniversary, or the dinner where you want to slow down and let a kitchen show off. Sushi Station will always be here for the quick, crave-it-now sushi run. Niku is where you go when the night itself is the point.
Where to find Niku
Niku is at 11543 Sylo Xing in Zionsville, open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Next time you are in for a plate of gunkan or a game-day sushi run near Grand Park, ask us about it. We are proud of what the team has built up the road, and we think you will love it too.
